How EPCO Began
Epco’s journey began in 1978 when Earl Peachey founded the company as a sales venture for car care products and cleaning chemicals. Driven by a commitment to genuine value and understanding customer needs, Peachey’s business quickly expanded, adding fasteners and power transmission products.
In 1987, Glenn Yoder acquired Epco, aiming to build upon its service-oriented legacy as a local fastener and maintenance supply company. The early days were humble, with the Yoder family working together, unloading trucks by hand in an unheated barn. As the customer base grew, so did the company’s product range and facilities.
Industrial Supply for the Future
Today, Epco has transitioned to the second generation of leadership, with Glenn’s sons, Luke and Tim Yoder, taking ownership. Recently, longtime employee and well-loved salesman, Darrell Bontrager, has also come on board as a shareholder. The company has evolved into a unique enterprise that balances personalized service and comprehensive product offerings. Epco caters primarily to metalworking-related businesses, providing a wide array of industrial supplies while maintaining its commitment to exceptional customer service.

Meet the EPCO team
Luke Yoder
President
Luke, a 23-year veteran of Epco Sales, enjoys solving process problems and, even more, the camaraderie built working with customers, vendors, and employees. Time with his beautiful wife, Christina, and friends is a favorite pastime. His six children, often hidden behind books, follow in his steps with their passion for reading.
Tim Yoder
Vice-president
For 29 years, Tim has continued as a valued member of Epco Sales. He equips the marketing team with all they need to thrive in their roles and enjoys doing his best at VMI and sales calls. Building connections with family and friends ranks high on his favorites list outside of work. His wife, Serena, and three children are honored to occasionally ride along on his sales calls. Most important of all, he has a passion to love and glorify Jesus and to share that love with others.
Darrell Bontrager
Sales Manager
Having served Epco Sales for 13 years, Darrell believes that his favorite aspects of the job are being a great co-worker, building lasting relationships with customers, and watching his customers grow their business. He married his bride, Kaylee, in December of 2020. He enjoys traveling with his wife and friends. He is also passionate about the outdoors and wildlife, especially elk hunting. He looks forward to going out west each year to chase bugles with his bow in his hand.
Brian Hearld
Outside Sales Manager
Interacting with great people and stretching challenges keep Brian thriving in his nine-year (and counting) role at Epco. Not only do golf and tennis keep him moving on the sidelines, but his two children (and two cats) also fill a huge part of his life at home.
Austin Bontrager
Outside Sales
Entering his eighth year at Epco Sales, Austin fervently extols the workplace for its unwavering encouragement and the liberating sense of authenticity it fosters. Austin gravitates towards the gym when not immersed in his professional endeavors, channeling his energy into fitness pursuits. Outside these commitments, his heart belongs to his daughter, Brooklyn, with whom he cherishes every opportunity to explore new adventures and create lasting memories.
Skyler Mullet
Outside Sales
Since joining the team in the spring of 2021, Skyler has enjoyed many aspects of working at Epco. From the warehouse to receiving to customer service, he has enjoyed creating relationships with his co-workers and customers. In his free time, he enjoys hanging out with his wife and children and playing sports and games with his family and friends.
Keith Schrock
Inside Sales Manager
Keith Schrock first joined the company in purchasing, where he worked for two years before leaving to return to hands-on work as an automotive technician. Now back at Epco for just over a year, Keith applies both his technical knowledge and procurement experience to help drive smart, efficient solutions for customers. He brings over 12 years of experience in the automotive industry to his role as Inside Sales Manager at Epco. Originally from northwestern Ontario, Keith grew up enjoying the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He thrives on the challenge of exploring new ideas and values Epco’s positive, improvement-focused work environment.
Jonahs Blough
Inside Sales
Jonahs came to us in June of 2023 with experience working in the parts world, retailing both automotive and ag parts, and purchasing parts for a decent-sized farm. He likes how Epco, unlike many giant corporations out there, is a small, family-owned business that values its employees and customers. He is motivated by the opportunity to continue to learn new things and meet new people as he helps our customers with their daily needs. Jonahs enjoys riding motorcycles, shooting, and being outdoors for almost any activity. He is an Eagle Scout, and although he is not a big fan of heights, he has left a functioning aircraft above 10,000 feet.
Ian Cail
Inside Sales
Ian Cail has been working at Epco since March 2025. He will bring a strong people-first approach to his role in Inside Sales at Epco, shaped by his previous experience in law enforcement, where he gained valuable insight into working with the public. His goal each day is simple but powerful: he enjoys working with people and being part of a team that makes a difference. An outdoorsman at heart, Ian enjoys hunting, fishing, and traveling whenever he gets the chance. He’s also passionate about cooking—especially smoking meats—and loves winding down by watching sports. As a left-hander, he’s no stranger to doing things a little differently, which often brings a unique perspective to the team. Ian is proud to be part of the extraordinary group at Epco and values the supportive, team-oriented environment that makes coming to work every day something to look forward to.
Marcus Rodes
Finance Manager
In the eight years Marcus has worked for Epco Sales, his co-workers, the challenges of reacting to the business/economic world, and the learning possibilities in multiple areas keep him thriving. Away from the job, disc golf, family, and church life provide a few outlets for his energy. His lovely bride and son also enrich his world tremendously.
André Martin
Purchasing Manager
André has enjoyed the fun, friendly, and stress-free atmosphere that Epco provides since joining the team in January of 2022. He is a pianist and a Christian. André likes cats, playing video games, and going on trips with his parents and three siblings.
Jackie Gallegos
Purchasing Agent
Jackie Gallegos has been with Epco since September 2023. She values the opportunity to grow alongside the company and her coworkers. She brings creativity, dedication, and a strong focus on personal and professional development to her role. Outside of work, Jackie enjoys capturing moments through photography—especially of her family, pets, and scenic landscapes. She’s passionate about scrapbooking, painting, and dancing, and finds joy in expressing herself through various forms of art. Jacqueline is a proud mother to a 2-year-old son, and she draws daily inspiration from her role as a parent. Coming from a large family with six siblings, she understands the importance of connection and support. She’s committed to becoming the best version of herself for both her family and her future. She also has a budding interest in French and hopes to visit Paris one day to experience its food, fashion, and culture firsthand.
Joel Lehigh
Marketing
Joel joined the marketing team in June 2022. He enjoys working on the website, which has included sourcing product photos and product weights, addressing any technical issues that arise, and overall trying to make it more user-friendly. Joel married the love of his life, Tiana, in March 2021. They are blessed to be the parents of a daughter and a son.
Shane Nissley
Operations Manager
Shane has been with Epco for 7 years and likes that people are a priority here. He enjoys finding solutions to problems and likes to constantly improve processes and workflow and make things more efficient in general. Some of Shane's hobbies are hunting, fishing, welding, and playing disc golf. He also enjoys grilling food for coworkers and friends, especially things that he has hunted, whether it be deer, elk, rabbit, or frogs.
